The discuss the Humanities Council's two-year Shifting Ground project on religion and public life in America and the next public address in that project, a talk on Islam in America with Ingrid Mattson, president of the Islamic Society of North America, and journalist Geneive Abdo. This event will be held on Wednesday, April 30 at 7 p.m. at St. Paul's School in Concord. Janet Ward, Shifting Ground facilitator, and Mohamed Defaa, teacher.

White discusses the work of the Cohen Center to increase understanding and awareness of the Holocaust and genocide and offers details on the Center's Summer Institute for teachers on The Holocaust and Genocide: Lessons for Ethical and Responsible Civic Engagement and Global Action.
